Margarita Coego, a Miami native born to Cuban actor Manolo Coego, discovered her passion for acting early on. Spending her early years in Caracas, Venezuela, her family’s artistic background inspired her. Beginning her acting journey in Miami at 12, she made her professional stage debut at 15.

Transitioning to television at 16, she took her acting skills to telenovelas like “Cuando Renace el Amor” and Delia Fiallo’s “Guadalupe.” Her exceptional performances in drama and comedy earned acclaim, notably in Venevision’s “Baño de Damas,” where her comedic timing and wit shone.

Throughout her extensive career, Margarita has impressed audiences with her versatility, highlighted by a standout performance in “Monólogos de la Vagina” which captivated Miami for months. With over four decades of experience, she has excelled in voiceovers, dubbing, directing, and acting, with recent success in “Que me Quiten lo Bailao”.

Her roles on television, notably as Señorita Karina on Univision’s “Sabado Gigante” and Letty Beltran in “Los Beltran,” have significantly contributed to her recognition. Her dedication to her craft is also evident, holding a Performing Arts and Essentials Industry certificate from NYU/TISCH.
