For the past 20+ years, he has been perfecting his craft as an actor, writer, director/producer, singer, clown, mime, and comedian. His love of being a spoken word poet, singer, MC, voice-over dubbing artist, and a world-class Charlie Chaplin impersonator (having lived in Hong Kong and Singapore while training Chaplin impersonators for Universal Studios alongside the Chaplin Estate), has never overshadowed his love for theatre and has appeared on many Florida theater stages professionally since 2003. Rio is now solely absorbed by the world of crafting stories, acting, writing, and production. He was last seen with the highly respected and critically acclaimed Bocastage Stage as Lt. Mike Talman in their production of Wait Until Dark. He is also the star of Nemesis, a new independent film shot in Miami streaming on various platforms.
